Having a pet sounds attention-grabbing and fun. But, adopting a pet, and taking care of it could be a huge responsibility. Most people keep pets for company. So before owning any animal as a pet it is significant to understand that;

Pets need time, care, and attention to keep them healthy, happy, active, and fresh. They need wholesome food, pure, and freshwater, and a healthy and comfortable place to live. Regular exercise is also necessary to stay fit. There is also a need to figure out that, whether the chosen pet will fit in well with you, your family, and also the surrounding environment.

If you love to have a dog, and you are going to adopt it then, you have to keep in mind that the dog is such an animal that requires more attention, care, and love than other pets;

Here are some guidelines which will help you to take better care of your dog breeds and keep them happy, active, and healthy:

1. Before owning a dog, recognize which dog breeds will be suitable for you because, the dog’s ownership requires an investment of your time, effort, and money. Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Poodle, Irish Setter, Vizsla, Newfoundland, Border Collie, and Bull Terrier are the most recommended family dog breeds.

2. Keep only such a number of dog breeds, you’ll provide them a suitable, clean, and safe environment. This includes suitable dogs- food, water, shelter, health care, toys, and fellowship, etc.

3. Feed your dogs, decent, fresh, and high-quality dog foods at a time (at least twice a day). 13. Provide suitable training to your dogs to make them friendly with other animals and people.

14. Provide them proper exercise and greater activities suitable to your dog’s age, breed, and health status.

15. In case of any emergency, involve your dogs in your planning, including a first-aid or evacuation kit.

16. Make suitable arrangements for the care of your dogs when you’re unable to try to do so.

17. If you feel any decline in your dogs’ health, consult your vet as early as possible.

18. Make sure that your dogs are correctly identified i.e., tags, microchips, or tattoos, etc., and also try to keep their registration up-to-date.

19. Keep them far away from dirt, dust, and allergies.

20. Keep your dogs dry and clean, depending on specific requirements.

21. Give a bath to your dogs whenever they become dirty, and using specific soap, shampoo, and towel, etc.
